It is recommended that you buy a papasan in a standard size so that you won’t have any problems should you need to replace cushions later on. If your chair comes in an irregular size, you would have to order customized replacement cushions, or even make your own, because most of the papasan cushions that are being sold in stores only follow the standard measurements. Choosing the Right Material, Papasan’s are traditionally made of a rattan or wicker base and topped with a thick and comfortable cushion. However, there are also some modern versions of this traditional chair that are made of other materials besides rattan, such as light metals, other kinds of woods, or even plastic.
Accessories – The jewelry of the room. The little this and that that you love can add to this one color scheme in a major way. Gold, bronze and silver nearest your color can serve as neutrals. Glass, crystal and plastic that do not change the color can add texture and interest too. Have fun and use your wonderful ”finds” to add personality and beauty to this scheme. If you are establishing this color scheme in your home I do want to warn you that it is possibly the hardest color scheme to do well, even for a professional, at times. Done well though it can be one of the most beautiful, exciting, sometimes calm and passive, and other time dramatic and bold color schemes there is.
